Dear Colleagues, The Chairs and Organizing Committee cordially invite you to participate in the 6th International Vanadium Symposium - V6 Symposium which will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, from the 17th to the 19th of July, 2008. This Conference focuses on all aspects of Vanadium Chemistry and follows the Symposia in Cancun, Mexico (V1-1997), Berlin, Germany (V2-1999), Osaka, Japan (V3-2001), Szeged, Hungary (V4-2004) and S. Francisco, USA (V5-2006). Vanadium Chemistry and Biochemistry is one of the active areas of research in Portugal, and we are sure that the V6 Symposium will provide an additional stimulus for the development of this field. The venue is the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, a Portuguese private institution of public utility whose statutory goals are the support and development in the fields of Art, Culture, Education and Science.
